Christmas Cards To Our Troops

I've always wanted to send Christmas cards to our troops, but have been reluctant because it is widely known the majority of cards never get to the soldiers.

While listening to my favorite local Christian station 95.1 Shine FM last night, the topic came up. The callers were voicing the same concern I had. A lot of Americans want to include our veterans in the holiday season but don't know exactly how to go about it.

This is what was suggested last night.

If you follow these instructions your holiday messages should get to a solider and hopefully brighten their day.
My family will be sending 50 Christmas cards to the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center this year!

Old Navy Fall Dress Sampling Results

I had fun sampling all the dresses at the Old Navy in the Annapolis Harbour Center!  There were about 8 full racks to choose from.  Sadly, my favorite pick from online wasn't available, but the selection was pretty good.  I tried on all the styles and ended up walking out with a super cute purple wrap dress - which I never would have thought!  All in all it was a great experience! Thanks O.N!!!

So, as promised - here is the online picture of the dress I ended up picking for my sample share:

And here it is on me:

I actually like the shade of the one they had in the store better!
